Style Me Curvy Meets The Karl Lagerfeld Robot Collection

I’ve always been open about my obsession with handbags. It’s been instilled in me since I was young. My first recollection at age 4, when my grandparents bought me a pink Polly Pocket seashell purse which housed my crayons with a fake pearl crossover chain. I brought it everywhere, delighted by the fact that I could bring extra things around with me at all times. Since then not much has changed, and my admiration for beautiful things and well made pieces will always be a part of me and this blog. Today I have collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld’s brand to show one of the pieces from his Robot Collection. He is known for cutting edge style and while he is still the head designer and creative director at Chanel, his own brand brings with it his signature style and luxury quality but at more of an affordable price point.

As always black is my go-to especially when it comes to designer pieces as it’s just so practical. I chose this piece as a classic tote bag style with a statement cartoon inspired twist featuring the Karl Robot and his cat Choupette. I loved the colour combinations that are still so easy to translate into my wardrobe, paired with jeans and a crisp white shirt, to a white jumpsuit or even a classic red dress. Within the Karl Lagerfeld Robot collection you’ll find clutch bags to statement cross body styles and tote bags such as this which comes in various colours. Today I wanted to let the bag do all the talking so I opted for a tailored black jumpsuit from curvy retailer Elvi teamed with simple crisp black ankle strap heels.
