Primark Sportswear Review

I’ve really been looking forward to today’s post this week! I love showing curvy options for every aspect of fashion including sports and leisurewear styles, however I find there’s a huge lack of retailers producing curve friendly pieces. So today I’m thrilled to team up with Primark to show some different looks as they range from a size 8-20.

During the week myself and my fellow Irish blogging gals went to Primark HQ where we got to see a great selection of their workout wear collection as well as putting them to the test personally in a full workout! It was such a fun event (some of you may have seen it over on my Snapchat and Instagram!). We got to meet some inspirational people on the day from Conor McGregor’s Coach, John Kavanagh, to food blogger Indy Power from The Little Green Spoon ( If you suffer from allergies or food intolerances she has some great recipe ideas and alternatives!).

Today I’m embracing some coral tones which is a wonderful colour on all skin types and it mixes and matches with other darker sportswear pieces easily too. I’m wearing a long sleeve stretch top which I went up one size in for added comfort as it is quite curve hugging. It’s a neoprene fabric which moves really well with your body as well as being extremely soft so fuller busts will find this very easy to wear. There are also added thumb holes in the sleeves which I find really practical and something you usually tend to see in more luxury sportswear lines.

I added a matching hoody for this look which is a perfect length and quite light weight meaning its ideal for layering over pieces or under items. In terms of sports leggings, this particular style is really comfortable as it has a thick waist band around the middle so I found it stayed put throughout the day – compared to thinner waist band styles that can lose their elasticity and slip.

While this kind of style is quite fitted and I have paired it with a fitted top to show the full shape and style for everyone, you can easily wear a looser long line t-shirt or layered vest top with this. You will still have that “fitted” effect but with more coverage depending on your shape while still embracing that sport luxe feel ( Take a look over on my Instagram here for more of an idea what I mean with a look from earlier this week).
