New York Fashion Week Day To Night Style With Evans

During New York Fashion Week I had the pleasure to work with plus size fashion brand Evans. I modelled two campaigns for them this Summer, “The Cut For Evans” and their swimwear collection so working together for New York Fashion Week was definitely a must! I took over their Instagram account for one of the NYFW days which was jam packed with shows and backstage action – you can see a few more sneak peeks on their Instagram account here with two of the outfits I wore. At Fashion Week I always aim to cover various trends and for this particular day I wanted to embrace the embroidery to it’s fullest which was done perfectly with my first Evans look, a double denim ensemble. I wanted to pick something that would work together or separately for the Autumn – For example, the denim jacket can be teamed with a midi skirt and heels easily for a totally different look, it could give an added edge to more casual pieces in your wardrobe like a simple dress or even plain jeans of any cut paired with ankle boots or trainers!

What I loved about the skinny jeans is that it could give more of a statement style feel to even the most basic tops for day to night style or Saturday night glam. I paired the look with a long lined white blouse from the Evans collection but as it was extremely hot that day in New York I decided to turn it into a cute crop style with just a simple front knot.

For that evening after a manic day of shows I had a quick change for a NYFW event. I opted for this sparkly black number with cut out choker neckline detail which I felt would work perfectly coming into the party season worn like today or paired with opaque tights and heels or again black skinny jeans for more casual glam feel. Both looks were so comfy to wear throughout the day but most importantly for me – neither needed to be ironed!!It was all go go go at Fashion Week so any kind of clothing that saved time and made life easier in any way was most certainly welcomed!!!
