The Primark Swimwear Curve Edit

This post is in collabouration with Primark

Shopping for swimwear can be a daunting task for many, particularly when you add curves or fuller busts into the equation. Last week I landed in Mykonos with Primark which was quite possibly the best excuse to put all my swimwear finds to the test. Across the trip I picked my key favourites I felt  would work for a variety of fashion tastebuds and shapes from the bold brights to the print enthusiasts and of course some subtle chic vibes.

Aztec Inspiration

Prints are something that I love to embrace for a number of reasons. In particular they create illusion effects,  anything from elongating your torso to balancing out proportions or camouflaging lower tummy areas. This particular style would be a delicate plunge V neckline with adjustable straps and offers light support to a variety of busts.

Frillseeker

We’ve seen variations of frill inspiration on the catwalks in the last two years and fusing it into swimwear works as a perfect blend of mixing trend with practicality. This style is fantastic if you perhaps want to create more of a curvier silhouette as it will instantly add balance to a frame with mixed proportions. Frill effects can also create more of a fuller bust effect with the details adding a delicate lift to the bust area. Frill option one: Embracing nautical stripes, even the horizontal lines can work for every shape. This Bardot inspired number can be worn as seen above or off the arms and shoulders entirely Frill option two: opting for a block colour with medium tummy control. You’ll find adjustable straps to secure the bust area teamed with a soft frill and a bohemian lace trimming.

The fuller bust favourite

This bikini top was new this season to Primark Swimwear offering up to a 40EE cup size. What I like most was the fact that the tie detail around the neckline and tie back was thicker than standard styles meaning it offered more support for fuller busts. They come in a variety of colours along with a beautiful high waisted matching brief.

Oh So Chic

This particular style can be worn with or without straps featuring a medium tummy control inset. These kind of swimwear options can be easily restyled on holidays with wide leg trousers, skirts or denim helping to maximise your suitcase space.

Bold brights

Strong colours are something I love to embrace in swimwear particularly in a block colour as its something that will always work as a staple piece in your summer wardrobe for years. Both of these swimsuits below offer tummy control but with quite different plunging necklines.

This statement red swimsuit gives more of a halterneck illusion from the front, plunging into a soft delicate V. At the back of this swimsuit there is a perfect line which drapes so elegantly down the spine to meet the high waisted finished brief.

This vibrant pink number has a beautiful plunged effect. It’s secured both at the top and at the base of the V cut plunge with tie detail enabling you to define your waistline as much as you please and for an added effect you can add a thin waist belt as I did here.

Both styles are very easy to accessories if you were hoping for more of a beach club style and they also come in different colours including black and khaki. 🙂

Everything seen today including accessories is from Primark and is available now in stores! 🙂 Wearing size 18 in all swimwear ( true to size) xxx
