Helen Steele S/S collection 2012

By trade Helen Steele began as an Artist. Her work always fused a beautiful collaboration of culture and expression to create a unique piece of art. Her emergence as a designer arose over several collaborations, from Harvey Nicholls to Joanne Hynes for London Fashion Week 2011 . Her talent has certainly not gone unnoticed with a list of high profile clientele following her paintings such as Diane Von Furstenberg and Helena Christiansen. Now with the title of ‘designer’ to add to her bow, she blends her artistic talents for us fashionistas to enjoy wearable art! She even has stars such as Jessie J and Nicola Roberts raving about her clothing collections and I am certainly not surprised. This S/S collection is really interesting because she brings bright colours and African tribal influences into a fabulous repetition of a patterned design. It’s really on trend with the current Miami style that is bombarding all the catwalks this season. What I like most is the cut of her designs, and in a few instances I would definitely wear some of the pieces during the winter months also for example looks : 2 and 3 . Look 1: Look 2: Look 3: Look 4: For more information on Helen and her collections seehelensteele.com or visit her facebook page here for most up to date information. Lou.xx
