The Edith Dohmen collection

The Edith Dohmen collection is the latest set of designer pieces to hit the internet for women between EU sizes 42 – 48 (16-22). For those that don’t know Edith, she is a well known Dutch stylist with the extremely popular website ‘Style has no size’ dedicated to women with curves and her infamous term “inbetweenies” . A term she coined which quickly caught the attention of magazine editors, bloggers and fashionistas around the globe.

The release of her own personal collection for women beyond a size 42 came as no surprise. It was something I was secretly waiting for for some time now. As expected the collection is practical with a variation of vintage elements, power fashion and simplicity. When I think of the ‘standard’ plus size collection in Europe I think – over the top frills that no one wants, added unnecessary material or pieces that just cover you up completely. Edith’s collection was a breath of fresh air with fitted or finely thought out pieces. My favourite is her floral midi skirt which, like the rest of the range is especially designed for women with curves.

In the collection you will find a variation of key pieces from blazers to tunic dresses, fitted skirts beautifully cut dresses and cute embelleshment accessories. You can view and buy the range in the EU from her site directly here, or in the USA from Madision Plus Select .
