Autumn hues

After a busy and exciting past few months of travelling to the likes of Sweden and Germany, I’m back in London at last. Myself and my boyfriend just moved into our new apartment two days ago so we’re still finding our way around the new area. I was lucky to have picked up this outfit last week which thankfully stood the crease proof packing test! 🙂

The skirt is a midi tube skirt from New Look. The material is really soft and it gives a nice shape to your bottom half. I’m wearing a size 16 but I think it looks quite flattering. The skirt sits on the body really well as it hugs your curves in certain places but gives a more looser comfortable feel that if you were to wear a tight midi pencil skirt. This deep burgundy colour is one of my favourites for Autumn/Winter because it’s a subtle way to break up any black in my wardrobe! 🙂

The top was a bargain find from Primark. It’s a netted jumper which was very Rihanna-esque, so I snapped it up. Some of you might be hesitant about working the jumper skirt trend, but I assure you, you won’t regret it! It’s comfort meets girly, stylish meets the relaxed, yet you still look dressed. To add a feminine touch to it, I wore my pink rose and diamanté necklace from H&M.

Accessories I kept simple with my biker open toe boots from last season and my black waffle weave hand bag. The colours of this outfit together may look simple but I love textures because it will always make your style stand out that little bit more.
