London Fashion Week Look 1:

London Fashion Week was somewhat manic, but it was an incredible week full to the brim of fashion and exploring new talent. Watch out for more Fashion Week posts on my blog over the next few days including one in particular on Irish designers.

London was bitterly cold last week so it was all about layering for me, not forgetting nude tights with practically everything! Added to this was a stunning cape I spotted recently. I liked that fact that it had structure and didn’t consume my body. Choosing this in a navy also gives options to wear this throughout the spring and summer months also. In terms of sizing its certainly a piece you will have to look at going down a size or two in. Here I’m wearing a 14. In the next week I’ll have a great post called “Styling The Cape” which will be to published on The Huffington Post website very soon. So I will leave more styling details for then.

For accessories I wanted to pack practical pieces that I could wear with numerous outfits. I picked them up in Parfois before I left, opting for stacked bracelets which you buy individually, and some chunky statement rings.

In terms of shoes, these ladies literally saved my life at Fashion Week, you will see them styled differently in another LFW post over the next few days. I spotted them in Next only ten days ago, they’re fully cushioned on the inside so they were a dream to wear especially for running between shows.
