The Vidal Sassoon LFW Pop Up!

London Fashion Week 2015 Vidal Sassoon

Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Vidal Sassoon ambassador Stuart Ross. Fast forward to LFW I met up with Stuart again who talked me through the latest addition to the Sassoon product family – VS Salonist. It’s essentially your at home D.I.Y hair colouring product which seems to separate itself from others on the market. It promises to blend colour evenly with a beautiful salon finish – preventing colour build up which can give that uneven finish to the hair – i.e patchy or even discoloured bands of colour from old hair dye.

In order to get that ‘Salonist’ finish, the product is first applied straight to your root area. After this you add the new VS serum to the remaining product, covering the rest of your hair right to the tips. The serum acts as a colour adjuster giving that perfect all over even colour. It definitely made great sense as colour build up can be so difficult to adjust once it’s happened. It was also nice to see how they’ve given consumers a huge colour choice of 24 different shades from various tones of reds, blondes, browns and a chic black.
