Urban Decay Product Review

Urban Decay Cosmetics

Makeup junkies are in for a treat with todays post. As you know I’m a Urban Decay fan, I love their ethics as a company down to the pigment of their eyeshadows. This is a selection of some of the new products currently at Urban Decay. I’ve tested them out over the last couple of weeks so you can check out my full review below.

Naked Skin: Ultra Definition Powder Foundation

Foundation and makeup Style Me Curvy

The latest addition to the UD foundation family is ideal for someone who likes to have a choice between au naturale and that buildable coverage. Coming into the Summer months this would be a great foundation to have particularly if you work in a city as it has a demi-matte finish and comes in a neat compact with a perfect sized mirror. It has an almost weightless feel and gives a very soft texture to the skin. For me, however, I prefer something with more of a luminous glow to my foundations but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend it to others – if you’re looking for a fresh look that would be easy to blend as well as long lasting foundation. It comes in 14 different shades so there is a great selection for every skin tone. Price : €36 / £26

Naked Skin: Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

Concealer - Reviews Urban Decay Their Naked Skin concealer and I immediately hit it off. It has that light creamy texture I look for in a concealer as its something you can double up for both covering dark circles or imperfections and well as a highlighter. Nor will you find it setting into fine lines. It blends with all foundations really well and you won’t have that heavy texture to your face which is what I loved. Price: €21 /£15

Moondust Eyeshadow

Makeup Reviews                                                                       Shade: Scorpio  Urban Decay recently added four new shades of their Moondust eyeshadow range to their collection – Scorpio, Solstice, Cosmic and Ether . I have one of these beauties I bought last year in gold shade from their range which I literally wear every second day. Scorpio works on the lid as a matte black with beautiful 3-D gold sparkle pigments. With any of the Moondust range I find their pigment is one of the best on the market as they seem to genuinely last hours, which definitely helps to justify paying €18.50 / £13.50 for an eye shadow. You can wear this easily as one shade on it’s own – on the lower part of the lid, or blended with other shades placing Scorpio in the crease of the lid for extra definition.

Sheer Revolution Lipstick

Lipstick reviews - Urban Decay- Makeup

Colours above: Sheer Liar and Sheer Slow Burn

My lipstick fans are in for a treat with this one. Lipsticks and I are hit and miss, I’m more of a lipgloss girl with exception to MAC’s cremesheen lipsticks. Sheer Revolution would definitely have similar qualities to MAC but a glossier, creamier texture.  Impressively it didn’t wear off too quickly either; it even got the coffee drinking test too and still looked pretty damn good! It’s moisturising properties are down to shea butter, jojoba, olive and babassu oils. All quite fancy business and a boost of antioxidants too from Vitamin C and E ingredients. Next on my hit list of shades is Sheer Obsessed ( comment below if you currently have this shade! Would love to know your thoughts!). Overall a great lippy for more lipgloss lovers like myself, those looking for more of a Spring Summer lip stick boost, or for those who suffer with dry lips yet love to have a lipstick that works for you. Price: €20 / £14 Available at Debenhams and House Of Fraser, John Lewis and Nordstrom ( US readers).
