Instagram Round Up

Two weeks ago I had two events to attend in the one evening, one for Links Of London and the other to celebrate Beaut.ie’s 1st birthday. I decided to revamp a Primark jumpsuit I bought at Christmas ( blog post from Christmas here) so I gave it a bit of a summer spin by removing the necklace that originally came with it, and adding my own layered necklaces from Topshop and Miss Selfridge. Overall opting for soft earthy tones – nude heels and a simple tan clutch. A comfortable, easy yet classic summer look.

Some of my go to work accessories these past few weeks and yes that includes beauty too! At the moment I’m using Vichy’s Teint Ideal illuminating eye cream to help combat dark circles and tired eyes which works wonders at the moment and a perfect handbag size to use as a highlighter also! My Parfois butterfly sunglasses which I paid €12.99 for, definitely have that designer inspired edge to them which I get asked about constantly so they appear to be quite the bargain find.  My Gucci notebook which was given to me as a gift and my ipad for working “on the go”.

Recently I was sent these goodies from Primark which was really lovely. I seem to be getting into this fringing spirit trend this summer so while I do tend to be more of a large handbag gal, this is great for weekend style when all you need to bring with you are the essentials. 🙂

Behind the scenes from a shoot I did with You Magazine for the Irish Daily Mail which came out yesterday. It was one of my favourite interviews so far this year for many reasons, the interviewer really listened, she was genuinely curious towards the future of how diversity in fashion is developing and the challenges the industry indeed faces. The styling was by fashion editor Grace Cahill who is a true beauty to work with, I loved her choices particularly this lace jumpsuit and Fedora from Folkster ( similar styles in the widget at the bottom of this page).

This month my shoot with Slink Magazine in the UK landed. It’s something I’ve been eager to share with everyone, I’ll be doing a full behind the scenes post on the day itself but here is just a sneak peek of it. I was delighted to work on this project with them to highlight some body positivity in a fun, light hearted way, plus I’ve always wondered what life as a doll would really be like!haha.

A quote to live by, I saw this recently and it’s something that is always important to remember wherever you are.
