Addison Lee and London Fashion Week

During London Fashion Week this season it was wonderful to team up with Addison Lee chauffeur company. Over the 5 days of Fashion Week there are various locations you need to get to for shows all within a small time frame, so having access to a driver during silly season was ideal! It was my first time working with Addison Lee so overall I didn’t know what to expect, but it was even more practical than I imagined. Here’s why:

In Car Wifi

Trying to upload photos on the go can be manic around Fashion Week especially if a phone network is acting up.  Addison Lee have in built wifi in the majority of their cars which meant I could get my social media done quite quickly and cost effective as it can be quite costly too if you have data roaming on! I was also using the Canon G1X which is wifi operated so it was an added bonus meaning I could send images to my phone without worrying about lots of cables.

Charging on the go:

As an iPhone user, charging your phone throughout the day is just a given, especially if you’re a Snapchat user because it just eats into the battery life! So I did try to limit Snapchat where possible, but at Fashion Week your phone is literally attached you your hand at all times so you are bound to go through your battery quite quickly, it’s a given! Inside the car there were a number of various car charger options for various phones which was a great safety net to have because by day 4 even my portable handbag charger was beginning to give up on me!

In car TV

Not something I would ever think of and I didn’t use this all that often but it was really lovely. One of the days I really was not feeling well and it was just something so nice to take my mind away for a few minutes. There are two behind each headrest and headphones so you if you have someone with you they can decide to watch something entirely different. The car featured in this post is from their luxury car range. You can download the Addison Lee appfor a car within minutes and request anything from a basic car or a people carrier to their luxury range. Many of which will have the above features with exception to the T.V as this only available in their luxury cars. It’s really reasonable depending on whether you have just a short trip or you need a driver for a full day. Overall definitely more cost effective than what I would have paid for London cabs or trains. Lou. xx
