Summer In The City Style

With the weather being so erratic and incredibly humid lately, I wanted to do a post that would work for city dressing and traveling in both style and comfort that still said summer! A Bardot inspired top with a peplum twist is something that will work from day to night especially when paired with a summer favourite of white skinny jeans. Both Next and River Island offer really good varied white jeans styles this season for all sizes and heights. Today’s jeans are from Next which go from a size 6-26 in petite, regular and long lengths but I have left a link at the bottom of the page with more style options too. When it comes to summer jeans I tend to go for more high waisted styles with good elastane in it. It hugs curvier frames much better without the worry of becoming too loose or baggy. To keep the look crisp and clean I opted for a pair of white Keds which I’ve been living in lately. If you have sensitive feet they have a layer of padded cushion in the sole so they are a dream to wear especially for hotter weather! To pull all the colours in together I added my Karl Lagerfeld Robot Tote bag which is currently holding everything but the kitchen sink in it!:)
