Autumn Shirt Dresses

The shirt dress is always such a practical style to have in any wardrobe but often people only associate it with Summer. This year I've seen more Autumnal styles than ever before which I'm so thrilled about because the selection of styles means it will work for everyones needs - work /life balance, college/university, everyday comfort chic and those looking for day to night style.

There are so many styles to choose from and ways to style it whether it's shorter lengths paired with a biker jacket and black tights (or bare legs if you are lucky to live in a warm climate!), PU leggings are more like a faux leather effect which is another A/W shirt dress combination I love. And for longer lengths like the one I'm wearing today, opting for over the knee boots are a winning combination from the catwalk this year - think deep burgundies, reds or go classic black.

This particular dress is by one of my favourite U.S brands Eloquii. I picked up some pieces while I was in New York as I'm a pretty much a super fan at this stage. They are a brand who are absolutely rocking curvy and plus size fashion and they would have a brilliant selection of shirt styles at the moment. Sadly they don't currently deliver to the U.K but I know in Ireland there is a concept called Address Pal via An Post ( the national postal system in Ireland) which enables people to buy from the US so perhaps there might be a U.K equivalent. I've also added a full gallery at the bottom as always for style inspiration, colour options and tall girl finds too.

For accessories today I went for a deep red Zara box bag, my star trainers for a more comfort feel to todays look and sunglasses from the Kendall + Kylie Jules collection I wore for New York Fashion Week.
