Littlewoods Ireland teams up with Style Me Curvy

At the start of the month I teamed up with Littlewoods Ireland to showcase a variety of their labels which offer a good diversity in sizes. All looks were inspired by the party and festive season. Their plus size label So Fabulous ranges from a size 14-28 as well as their other labels such as Definitions, South and Love Label ranging from a size 8-24. Teaming up with them for the purpose of this shoot was fantastic because it’s exactly in line with the Style Me Curvy ethos, fashion for every curve and dress size. It was shot by fashion photographer Agata Stoinksa and styled by Tanya Grimson for the Irish Independent Life Magazine.

The team were incredible to work with particularly from a creative perspective. As a fashion blogger it was really interesting to work with Tanya on a fashion shoot to see how she likes to create and put together looks and colour combinations. Picking my favourite look from the day would be impossible but I will say that the jumpsuit is an absolute gem of a find for the festive season with its peplum detailing.

Some of you may have noticed the new addition to my hair, a FRINGE! As much as I loved it on the day, sadly it is fake. Hair stylist Trudy Hayes bought the fringe in a Dublin hair extensions store, Hairspray. It’s actually a great idea for anyone contemplating on getting a fringe. The makeup was by Ken Boylan who I blogged about recently here. It was kept very clean and fresh with an emphasis mainly on the foundation, the cheek bones through highlighting and a deep red lip.

Behind the scenes:

Ken started off with Ren’s Vita Mineral Day Cream. He then used his own brand of products. The foundation used on the day was his HD foundation. For hair, Trudy used a lot of Aussie products including this hair serum prior to styling – Aussie Dual Personality Curl Definition which you can get in most stores such as Boots.

Here is me trying to get use to the fringe! Also behind the scenes is the team hard at work taking shots of stylist Tanya as she also blogs and writes for the Littlewoods Ireland website. Beside this image is Ken’s gorgeous dog who enjoyed taking in the fashion surroundings! Great little assistant!

Here are things I was lusting and swooning over during the shoot! Having to part with them all after the shoot was pretty hard, I’m not going to lie! The shoes were beautiful especially the royal blue court shoes and the burgundy Love Label shoe boots. The jacket was from Fearne Cottons collection. It’s quite loud if you are shy when it comes to prints but I adored it! The bracelet I loved because of the collaboration of bright colours rolled into this thick cuff. It’s something that is certainly transeasonal so I’ve added it to my ‘ Christmas presents to myself ‘ list 😉 . Lou.xx
