Get the look: Smokey Plum with makeup artist & model Charlotte Coyle

Tis the season to be fabulous. It’s such a great time of year to really go all out on the glam factor with so many parties coming up and excuses to get all dolled up . I’ve chosen a smokey eye and dark plum lips which is perfect for the high glamour of the Christmas season. And with all the products I’ve used from Superdrug. It’s beauty on a budget that every one can enjoy!

1- Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, no.52 – £7.99/ €9.50 2- Bourjois Colour Edition 24H in 6801 – £6.99/ €8.30 3- B Radient BB concealer no.060 – £7.99/ €9.50 4- Gosh Smokey Eyeliner – £5.99/ €7.00 5-Barry M Plum Lipstick no.160 – £5.00/ €6.00 6- Maybelline Brow Drama in dark blonde – £4.49/ €5.33 1. To begin I started with my eyes using GOSH smokey eyeliner as my base. I coloured my entire eye lid, brining the liner under the eye and into the water line. 2. Then with my eye shadow brush I used BOURJOIS colour edition 24H in 6801 which is a glittery burgundy colour I cover my entire eye lid and under my eye building colour above the eyeliner base , I really built up the intensity then blended the crease and under the eye with a blending eye shadow brush so there was no hard lines just nice and soft and smokey, then I finished the eyes with mascara . 3. Filled in my eyebrows with MAYBELLINE Brow drama in dark blonde. 4. For foundation I used BOURJOIS healthy mix and for concealer under my eyes and into my cheek bones I used B radiant BB under eye concealer. This concealer really helps to pop smokey eyes . 5. For my lips I used BARRY M plum lipstick. I am in love with this lipstick it’s so hydrating last for ages and the colour is gorgeous and at £5 I give this lippy a big thumbs up. It is a must for your beauty bag! This is a statement makeup look for the party season even if your scared to wear both smokey eyes and dark lips, you could change the lips to a more nude colour or whatever you feel comfortable with . But it’s Christmas and this is very fashionable look so why not go all out and be confident. 🙂 Tip I didn’t use blusher or bronzer to keep my makeup in balance as this is a statement look. I didn’t want to look over done but if you can’t live with out your blush try and use more nude tones or a high shimmer on the top of your cheek bones . Charlotte.
