Taking a break from Christmas fashion

For this weeks outfit post I thought I would step away from the sequins and festive inspirations and turn some attention back to everyday casual looks. Just as a little break from the Christmas rush, which actually fitted  in perfectly with my monthly Littlewoods Ireland post.

This look is something that is quite versatile. Starting with the coat, it has my favourite look of PU sleeves which continues in detail around the shoulders. It’s a cross between a biker coat and Mac jacket which makes it interesting and different. I would consider it a medium weight jacket, something that would be quite transeasonal. It sits just past your derrière so if you are petite it would sit nicely on you.

To add warmth, layering is key. I added this crisp white shirt from the definitions collection partnered with this gorgeous gold and spike detailed statement necklace. The two teamed together with either jeans or a nice fit and flare style skirt work extremely well. It’s something that will take you from the office to drinks with the girls or a casual dinner quite easily.

The black jeans are one of my favourite finds. They have a waxed effect which are broken up by two large black panels at the sides. The quality is fantastic and extremely comfortable. They look quite dressy so you could easily pair it with a fancy top for a night out. To bring some colour to this I just added my tartan scarf.
