Colour Pop

Prepping your wardrobe for the Spring Summer can seem daunting, especially for those on a budget. It’s something I’ve had on my mind a lot lately as I’ve started to get more requests from readers looking for great places to shop with a reasonable price tag. I’ve kept everything quite budget friendly as a result, with just one exception that I couldn’t resist picking out for you all; a pink biker jacket from River Island. Below I have indulged into some key colours that are highly sought after at the moment, along with some extremely flattering pieces for every kind of curve. 🙂

George at Asda

Leopard Print Tunic by G21 Â£14 Orange Dress £16 / Chiffon Vest £5    G21 Eyelash Jumper  Sheer Panel   Bracelets £8  Sachel Â£12 Leopard Print Skirt £10  Midi Skirt Â£12 – Sizes 8-24 Look number one is from George at Asda which is about embracing bolder tones and wild prints. Leopard print is something that is always seen on the high street during the Spring months. The printed shift dress has a large pattern which makes it highly flattering on as opposed to smaller micro prints. It comes in at £14 which is a total bargain find. If you are an apple shape and want to balance out your body the skirt version paired with a simple top will give your body more shape and the illusion of a longer torso. Bold oranges are a key colour for the season which you shouldn’t shy away from too quickly when you see it on the hanger. If you have a lot of black in your wardrobe this colour breaks it up extremely well bringing life back into you Winter clothes. Like anything try it on first to see what shade suits you the best.

New Look

Kimono: £22.99  Blue Crop T-Shirt £12.99  Midi Dress £17.99 Denim Shorts Â£19.99   Denim Skirt Â£19.99Denim Shoes £8.99  Clutch Bag £12.99  Sizes 8-18

Some of you might have noticed a lot of blue flourishing throughout my outfit posts lately. It has become a colour which seems to lift my spirits, as ironic as that may be. If bold blues may not be something you are comfortable with, look to denim and light blues which are so easy to style. Hourglass ladies, midi dresses are a great summer casual look like the one I have picked above. If you are pear shaped wear a good supportive Tshirt bra to enhance your top half and balance out your frame in a dress like this.

River Island

Pink Embossed Leather Jacket €241   Light Pink Peplum Dress With Necklace Trim â‚¬75 Light Pink Skater Skirt €33 Tube Skirt €29 Pink Quilted Bag – €37  Platform Sandals €75  Sizes 6-18

Powder pinks, blush tones to faint pastels would have to be the favoured sweetness in the fashion worlds cup of tea at the moment. And who could disagree with a soft colour palette that will suit any skin stone. There is lots to work with here. Pencil shapes should look to any of the above to add curves to your frame. The peplum dress just gives a hint of exaggeration to the hips, giving a beautiful silhouette and streamlined look. Lou.
