Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue : Escape to Panarea

For those who might be familiar with D&G Light Blue original you will know of its light italian aroma. ‘Escape to Panarea’ is an addition to the light blue family. They have stayed true to their ‘light’ appeal making this a beautiful choice for the summerwith soft hints of pear and jasmine tones. I’ve been a light blue fan for years so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I have literally been wearing it nearly every day for the last week. Definitely a new favourite for me this Summer!

Debenhams: €85/ £66 for 100ml or €60/£49 for 50ml

Aussie Hair Care

Ah Aussie, I was sent what can only be described as a total pick me up package last week. As you all know, I have a serious hair product obsession. Their 3 Minute Miracle mask gives a great surge of life into hair especially when you need a mid week hair pick me up. The Aussie Aussome Volume and Gloss hair spray is new to me so expect a full review soon, but so far the smell alone is just lovely. Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner is ideal for those with dry, fine or over coloured hair. I like to use some kind of moisturising shampoo/conditioner once a week to help prevent breakage along with a hair mask around twice a week. At the moment I’ve seen lots of great deals on these products for the summer. As a lower end price product its extremely good value! Aussie Aussome Volume Hairspray: €4.99/€3.99 3 Minute Miracle mask: €6.00/£5.00 Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner: €7.60/£6.20 each

Urban Decay products @ Debenhams

Last week I was invited into Debenhams with Urban Decay to go through some products while having a makeup application. The Naked Urban Decay palettes have a strong stamp in the beauty industry now and with the introduction this year of Naked Palette 3 I wanted to see what it was really like. There are lots of similarities to Naked 2 which I use on a daily basis – see post here – but there are a number of shades that I leave out such as ‘Pistol’ and ‘Verve’. The 3rd palette has more blush pink tones and easy to wear browns that are more up my street. Definitely an item on my beauty list to buy next. The foundation ‘Urban Decay Weightless Ultra Definition Makeup‘, did indeed give a nice light feel and soft texture but by the end of the day I found myself looking for my own foundation as opposed to this one. With foundation however I do feel as though you need a good week to really examine it properly as to how it fits with your skin. The Urban Decay All Nighter long lasting setting spray feels so refreshing as soon as it is applied to your skin. It gives an instant hydrated look to the skin while helping to set your makeup for the day. I have to admit my eyeshadow and blusher barely moved for the entire day afterwards! Naked Palette 3: €44/£35 Foundation: €34/£25 All Nighter setting spray: €21/£18                                            Roger & Gallet Lait Sorbet body lotion

Usually I am a fan of Roger and Gallet, particularly their recent perfume which I reviewed here. The consistency of it this body lotion was really nice. It was light, easy to spread and dried in very quick. Unfortunately it was the strong cedar scent that I couldn’t take to. There was a lot of deep masculine tones in it so I actually felt like I was wearing a strong aftershave which stayed with me for most of the day. They come in a variety of different scents so perhaps this one in particular just was not for me. Price: €15/ £12.50

Bourjois Erasable Eyeliner

Bourjois is a beautiful brand which have a number of products I like. This product caught my eye out of curiosity last week in Boots, as a result I had to buy it ( for you guys of course!:) haha) An eyeliner and a brush with an eraser? What more could you want! With high expectations, it was immediately noticeable that the eyeliner fluid felt different to other eyeliners qualities by the same brand. It has more of a gel like feeling to it, making it much slower and difficult to apply. I am a big winged eyeliner kind of girl so if you want a good clean sharp line at the end of the eye, then it will definitely take precision and time. It did last a number of hours but the black shade turned a light navy by hour 8. And while it it did erase where necessary, my overall thoughts are that I wouldn’t be repurchasing it for what I personally look for in a liquid liner, erasable or not. 🙁 Boots €10.50/ £8.50
