LFW Day 3 Outfit Post & Show Details

Day 3 was quite adventurous at London Fashion Week. There was a number of wonderful shows on but the big one for Sunday was Topshop Unique. That day I knew there would be a lot of walking around to do with a number of fashion presentations on too, and as my feet and I were pretty much no longer on talking terms, it was time to take out the flats! I pretty much worked my entire look around this so I hope you like it! 🙂

This look is simple chic. This neoprene skirt was very similar a designer look so I was of course delighted that I found this bargain for £8 in Primark,  which also goes up as far as a size 24. The size of this skirt however did seem on the small size so I opted for a size 18, but I loves how it flared out in some kind of gothic princess style. As I had mention in my last outfit post the weather was really humid so this light fashion “Street Style” t-shirt was ideal. When you’re pairing a t-shirt with a skirt I would always recommend to tuck it in as opposed to leaving it out to create more of a shape to your body.

The shoes as I mentioned to begin with were my main emphasis that day so I went for this gorgeous gunmetal strap sandal which was really popular among my fashion blogger friends also. There is a slight platform sole which made them extra comfortable especially for a long day on your feet. They are really unusual and not for everyones taste buds but there is something about them I really loved and they are definitely sandals I will be wearing again next Summer!:)

For the evening I layered the look with this very light collarless jacket which had a beautiful embossed detail. The colour is really flattering for most skin tones and would work really well with a pair of jeans skinny jeans and some high heels for a quick and simple evening look.

This bag is certainly Chanel inspired which I picked up for £6/€7 at Primark. It was so light to carry around but held a multitude of things which I was really happy with. It was perfect for the day that was in it as no heels had to be carried around thankfully! 🙂

Topshop Unique

The Topshop Unique show can only be described as a ‘sea of the fashion world’ in one specific place. Anna Wintour on the front row, celebrities such as Pixie Lott and Abbey Clancy, international blogger Bryan Boy (who was so sweet and lovely when I asked him for a quick photo), along with global media and fashion photographers from all around the world. It was certainly an experience! Topshop’s Spring Summer 2015 looks for next season was pure sports luxe through and through all with highly youthful vibes. Makeup was extremely natural which I’ve noticed is a common factor among most designers at Fashion Week – A barely there finish with a concentration on strong eyebrows and a flushed pink lip.

Toga

One of my favourite presentations of Fashion Week was by Japanese label Toga. It was held in the stunning St.Pancras Renaissance hotel in London. The label created a beautiful array of textures and clashing colours. It was incredibly inventive and as I’m a huge accessories fan I was in awe of their unique futuristic designs of clutch bags and shoes using variations of materials for plastics, netting and leathers.
